How to Apply a CA Pen Finish
I continue to be asked how I achieve the glass like finish on my pens, so I thought I would knock this little video together when I was out making a few pens for our display cabinets in the shop.
There are several different methods that can be used to achieve the same end result, however this is what I found works for me.
It is a fairly easy and quick process but does require some practice to perfect. I remember the first few times I tried this method I ended up with CA everywhere. Now I do not even get a drop of CA (Superglue) on me anywhere especially my fingers which is great.
If you have any questions with my process or just with applying a CA finish in general then drop us a note below and we will try to answer your questions.
Before I go please note that this process can be used on wood, Acrylic, TruStone, and Polymer Clay and almost most other materials too so it's a very versatile and tough wearing finish.
Thanks for watching.
